Job Summary
12hr rotating shift. 6:45 to 7. (2-3-2 schedule)
Summary Of Position
Conducts analysis and experimentation on raw material, in-process and finished product, and wastewater samples to ensure quality specifications meet or exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities
" Operates and maintains various quality control instruments.
" Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods.
" Approves/rejects materials based upon set specifications.
" Enters data into plant information system to allow generation of reports on plant operating conditions
" Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
" Performs calibrations of equipment.
" Assists in troubleshooting problems with in-process materials, intermediates and finished products.
" May perform other related assignments as determined by supervision.
Minimum Requirements
Education equivalent to:" BS in Chemistry or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience:
" Minimum 6 months lab experience Job related work experience skills/knowledge requirements: (describes ideal and preferable experience but not the number of years)
" Self motivated individual with good time management skills
" Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office)
" Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
" Excellent communications skills.
