Position Summary:
This position will support over 800 external Investment Advisors within the Consulting Group division of Wealth Management. The person will be responsible for data feed set-up and ongoing maintenance, onboarding new users, review of user entitlements, and assisting with oversight functions for the Separately Managed Account (SMA) and Unified Managed Account (UMA) programs. This person will act as an intermediary between Financial Advisors and external Investment Advisors to communicate policies and procedures. This person will be tasked with maintenance of a proprietary database and the quarterly manager profile/survey process. This includes aggregating and maintaining monthly performance for Separately Managed Accounts (SMA), mutual funds, and ETFs for the Advisory business within Wealth Management. As a Specialist, you will assist in problem solving, researching, and fielding questions on proprietary applications leveraged by Investment Advisors.
Responsibilities:
Train new Investment Advisors on all applications including the processing of trading, and corporate actions and operational activities
On boarding new external users to proprietary applications
Communicate between Investment Advisors, support desk, and Financial Advisors on policies and procedures
Setup of products to be used within the Wealth Management Advisory program
Assist in testing and UAT efforts for all enhancements to systems utilized by Investment Advisors
Set-up Investment Advisors so they can receive daily downloads for reconciliation purposes
Monitor daily reports that provide oversight of the SMA program
Act as a liaison between the external Investment Advisors and the Corporate Action department for reorganizational offers
Maintain internal proprietary database used to generate manager profiles and performance for the Advisory platform
Collect survey responses from Investment Advisors on a quarterly basis and generate performance profiles
Provide quarterly oversight to the posting and validation of the manager profiles
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or similar concentration required
2-3 years of relevant work experience
Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated, ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats, as well as interact cohesively with all levels of personal, both inside and outside the firm
