This position will work within the Environmental Permitting in support of Client operations. The position will be tasked with conducting and/or managing a range of environmental and engineering-related endeavors associated with construction of transmission lines, substations and renewable energy.
Possible contract to hire.
Tasks Will Include But Not Be Limited To
- Obtaining environmental permits (federal, state, local, etc.).
- Leading environmental compliance.
- Developing and negotiating mitigation strategies, threatened and endangered species consultation.
- Erosion and sedimentation control plan development/review.
- Stormwater management, avoidance and minimization measures, impact assessments, and regulatory/governmental agency coordination.
Qualifications
- Four year degree in a related discipline required, with a minimum 8 years related professional work experience, advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
Salary : $55 - $62
