Furniture Delivery Driver (Immediately Hiring)
Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm
Assist in the safe and efficient delivery of our products to the customer’s home. On down time scheduling deliveries for following days and miscellaneous/store upkeep jobs
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist to lift upto 300 lbs with assistance. video cabinets, sofas, tables, mattress, inclining sofas, motion beds.
- DOT License is Mandatory (Company will pay for license)
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks for delivery drivers.
- Assist the delivery driver with unloading and delivering merchandise to customers in their homes or with delivery from the warehouse to the stores.
- Assist delivery driver with pick-up of customer furniture for return to warehouse for repair or for refinishing.
- Assist with the placement and movement of inventory for store displays.
- Must be willing to interact with client's for scheduling deliveries and their final payment.
- Assist with miscellaneous store / warehouse jobs.
- Shipping and Receiving of products.
- Comply with all safety regulations established by the company.
- Handle merchandise properly to ensure against any possibility of injury to self or other employees and prevent damage to the merchandise.
- Perform the function of delivery driver as required.
- Must be neat, clean, and in full uniform when delivering to or picking up furniture from the store or customer.
- Perform any other duties as required. Small family run business we need all hands on deck.
