POSITION SUMMARY:

Our company is currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a motivated and creative individual to take on the role as a Video Editor and Videographer. This individual is responsible for producing, shooting, and editing all video footage. The ideal candidate should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. The Video Editor & Videographer will collaborate with our creative team and work closely with VP of Content from concept through completion.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Create and manage video content for Ethika’s brand campaigns and social media accounts while adhering to brand guidelines and engaging with the target audience

● Edit and assemble recorded footage into finished projects that matches the team's vision and is suitable for Ethika’s branding.

● Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

● Stay updated with emerging trends in video production, editing, and digital

● Determines what camera equipment is necessary and obtains equipment

● Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production

● Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment

● Collaborates with the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting collaborations pertaining to the demographic

● Develops interview questions, storyboards, and implements unique shots for projects and events

● Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

● Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects

● Responsible for managing video asset archive

● Produces compelling video content for web, social and retail

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Proven work experience as a video editor and videographer, minimum 5 years experience

● Solid experience with digital technology and advanced proficiency with editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Blender, Photoshop, and Final Cut)

● Demonstrable video and audio editing ability with a strong portfolio

● Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity

● Creative mind and storytelling skills

● Strong ability to identify and capitalize on video content trends within the music and fashion industry.

● BA in Public Relations & Mass Communications (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
