Job Summary
The quality control supervisor ensures that all internal and external requirements are met before the product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and products, as well as identifying failures or non-compliance issues. The objective is to guarantee the high quality of our operations and services, to achieve the long-term success of our business.
To be the expert in the operations and warehouse processes to assist end users in the proper execution of the procedures established through the Koerber suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Create procedures for inspecting and reporting quality issues.
- Supervise all operations that affect quality
- Supervise and guide the quality control team, technicians, and other workers.
- Ensure reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final production.
- Evaluate customer requirements and ensure they are satisfied.
- Report all breakdowns to production management, to ensure immediate action.
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality information.
- Review current policies and regulations
- Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
- Ensure that all legal regulations are complied
- Communicate with external quality control officers during on-site inspections
WMS
Support / coordination of WMS including:
- Training of QC users within the facilities.
- Application testing with IT, customers, and local users
- Specification and delivery of local reporting requirements.
- Training of local users and administration of the associated documentation.
- Documentation of procedures, manuals, and instructions inherent to the position and to the applications of the Koerber suite applied to the processes of the organization, as well as of clients.
- Support testing of new versions against customer requirements.
- Identify and recommend change controls to support improvements and operational fixes.
- Basic application troubleshooting. More complex errors will be reported to IT, in the case of integrations, and directly to Koerber in the case of errors in the suite's applications.
Requirements
- Minimum: High School or Technical Degree
- Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations working in the field of storage and/or transportation services.
- Experience with Windows, Android and iOS operating systems will be a plus.
- Experience with SQL Server databases and T-SQL language (desirable).
- Minimum 2 years technical experience working with 3PL products, including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, order management systems, and/or business application integration tools. SAP experience an advantage.
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of statistical and data analysis methods
- Detail-oriented and results-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Salary : $45,600 - $57,700
