What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher - Closer position at Ethos Early Learning Center?
Ethos Early Learning Center is growing! We are seeking a passionate infant teacher to join our Center in South Boston, which is conveniently located near public transportation. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience working with infants in a childcare setting, is EEC-qualified, and can work from 9:30 am to 6:15 pm or from 11:45 am to 6:15 pm.
Salarie range from $22.00 to $25 per hour. The level of education completed and previous/current teaching experience are contingent on the salary.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with infants/toddlers and commitment to nurturing their development.
- Teacher Certified or Qualified, or a person that has completed the college course "Child Growth and Development.
- Has or is interested in working toward an Associate Degree and/or a BA in Early Childhood or a related field.
- Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels at speaking with parents.
- Comes to work on time as scheduled.
- Shows initiative, strong work ethic.
- Ability to be a team player.
- Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality.
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work to South Boston, MA 02127.
- Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to sit on the floor, squat, run, and lift 60 pounds.
