What are the responsibilities and job description for the Report Editor position at Ethos Risk Services?
Ethos Risk Services, a fast-growing company in an exciting and unique space within the insurance investigative industry, is looking to add a Report Editor to our Editing Team.
A day in the life of an Ethos Report Editor:
- Review reports submitted by field investigators to ensure they are free of spelling and grammatical errors, and that they are professionally written
- Address inconsistencies that are in the reports
- Contact investigators for clarification of facts or information written in the report
- Review the client's special instructions to make sure that the file was handled within specified parameters
- Send appropriate feedback, as needed, to investigators to help them improve their report writing
Our Report Editors are self-motivated individuals with strong interpersonal communication skills, who can meet strict deadlines, and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
Our ideal candidate for this role is either a college student or graduate majoring in English, Journalism or Communications, has an eye for detail, and very strong reading comprehension and writing skills.
This is a remote position that requires a personal computer, secure internet access and MS Office.
