The Role: User Experience Developer

To continue delivering industry leading technology, we seek an experienced User Experience Developer (REMOTE). In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and development, translating user experience (UX) concepts into functional and interactive prototypes. You'll collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to bring user-centered design principles to life. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and understand design concepts, user flows, and interaction patterns
• Translate design mockups and prototypes into functional code using front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular) as needed
• Develop reusable UI components and ensure code maintainability and accessibility
• Contribute to the development process by writing unit and integration tests for UI components
• Collaborate will engineers to ensure seamless integration of UI components with back-end systems
• Stay up-to-date on latest UX design trends and development technologies
• Participate in user testing sessions and iterate on prototypes based on user feedback
• Optimize workflows by evaluating current behavior and making recommendations for improvement both from a design as well as from an efficiency perspective
• Evaluate current workflows for opportunities for improvement in performance at the UI/UX level

What You Need To Qualify:

• 5 years of experience in front-end development
• 3 years of experience working on UX projects
• Experience with a version control system
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (a plus but not required with demonstrably relevant experience)

You'll Stand Out If You Have:

• A relevant UX design certification

This is a remote work from home / virtual position with occasional need to travel for in-person meetings.
