Maintenance Manager
Description:
This role will support a 25-person chemical plant that produces polymer additives located in the Stratford, CT area.
These specialty chemicals are mostly mixed & blended powders that go into multiple different products such as the inside of golf balls, fan belts, rubber parts for cars, and more. This site is not PSM regulated but does operate and use all guidelines of a plant that does.
The main focus of this role will overseeing the equipment on site - mixing, blending, drying, powder conveying. Following safety procedures, repairing and modifying plant facilities & equipment, this role will supervise 2 maintenance technicians.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. Chemical Engineering highly preferred, will consider B.S. Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of manufacturing industry experience or related out of chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, widgets preferred
- Should have some supervision & leadership experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
