What are the responsibilities and job description for the WGPW Manager Production Control & Planning position at EthosEnergy Group?
The Manager of Production Control & Planning will be responsible for the overall control and management of production efficiency. Responsible for analyzing the labor groups and determining ways to improve cost per engine. Provide daily updates to the team regarding production status and tracking priorities.
Salary Range: $85k-$120k per year as commiserated with experience and education.
Job Responsibilities
- Acts as the liaison between Customer Support, Supply Chain and Production.
- Actively monitor, maintain, and control work loading in the production area.
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to ensure production schedules are communicated and product is delivered to production on time.
- Coordinate with the overall Operations team to minimize production delays.
- Communicate with relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
- Preparation of timely performance reports and analysis of shop floor performance.
- Prepare production capacity and demand plans.
- Identify Continuous Improvement projects to improve efficiency and delivery on KPI’s.
- Assist in identifying CapEx projects and coordinate the implementation to drive production improvements.
- Complies with all WGPW EHS standards and procedures as outlined in the EHS program and employee handbook.
- Identify bottlenecks or delays in production & help coordinate the necessary labor, materials, and other resources available to minimize/improve those delays.
- Plan and monitor workflow to help reduce production lead time.
- Support process improvement efforts.

Experience
- Significant operations experience of industrial gas turbines and knowledge of repair and services operations is highly preferred.
Education Requirements
- 4-year technical degree or significant operations experience of industrial gas turbines and knowledge of repair and services operations
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to type, and handle or feel objects. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 30 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally work in high places or be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, solvents, and oils. Work environment will vary due to travel.
