BASIC FUNCTION:

Assist dealers/customers with on-site consultation, training, adjustments and repairs. Performs in-house repairs for customers as needed. Installs, services, troubleshoot, and repairs all Company products.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Provides instruction and/or demonstration of equipment operation, maintenance and safety, both in factory and in the field.
• Trains dealers/customers personnel in adjusting, servicing, operating and repairing of units.
• Maintains records and reports on filed calls, repairs, and expenses.
• Identifies product failures, develops methods of correction, and makes emergency repairs while in the field.
• Assists in conducting training programs, factory training classes, and service meetings for customers, dealers, and dealer service personnel as requested by supervisor.
• Reports/makes recommendations to Engineering Department to improve product operation and serviceability.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have and maintain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Must have a broad knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and servicing principles and practices. Two years of practical experience and/or specialized training is required. Ability to read precision measuring tools and blueprints is also required. Good communication skills are a must and occasional travel is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent climbing, bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 75 pounds) will be required.
