Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure the accuracy of all accounts

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations

- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes

- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings

- Provide support during the annual audit process

- Manages the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, accounts payable/accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliation in QuickBooks.

- Coordination with manager directly

- Bachelor's degree is preferred

- CPA certification is desired but not required

- Microsoft Office and QuickBooks experience required

- Minimum 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends

Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Hopedale, MA 01747 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Hopedale, MA 01747: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
