Controller

$120-135k/Year, Full Time, Excellent Benefits

Our client is one of the largest maple processors and distributors in the country, and they want you to join their team as a Controller!

Your day-to-day as a Controller:

• Manage corporate financial records, policies, and standards
• Analyze financial data for internal reporting and strategy
• Oversee budgeting processes and support corporation-wide budget preparation
• Establish and maintain cost accounting standards for operational efficiency
• Deliver specialized, high-quality financial reports to drive informed management decisions

Your skills and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of financial and cost accounting experience, including three years in a supervisory role
• Proven track record in project management including leading teams, organizing financial audits, and managing monthly closings
• Strong analytical skills and comprehensive understanding of accounting theory/GAAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiarity with MS Dynamics Great Plains is preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
