We are looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to lead an analytics team supporting our Marketing Organization. In this position, you and your team will employ sophisticated analysis and industry-leading measurement techniques to inform Etsy’s marketing strategy. Our mission is to demystify marketing with insights grounded in data, telling the story of how we can most effectively attract and retain our buyers and sellers.
As a Senior Analytics Manager, you will work to ensure your team is consistently delivering clear insights while providing access to metrics, data, and tools needed for decision-making and optimization at all levels of the Marketing Organization. Your team encompasses two critical areas: Above-The-Line advertising and cross--channel measurement. The team’s analyses will help Etsy tackle complex challenges like understanding the long-term impact of marketing campaigns, modeling channel interactions and marginal return, and predicting customer behavior. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics and the base salary range will be $176,000 - $228,000 USD per year. This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn office in an in-person or flex capacity. Candidates living within commutable distance of the Brooklyn Hub, may be the first to be considered. What does the day-to-day look like?
Lead a team of data scientists, providing guidance on specific analyses, career development, and novel analytical techniques
Work closely and collaboratively with marketing leadership to develop strategies that balance short and long-term goals as the opportunities facing our marketplace evolve, and we continue to innovate and grow at a rapid pace
Develop new analytical frameworks, data science techniques, and predictive analytics to better understand our users and the impact of our marketing investments, including attribution, media mix modeling, churn prediction, lifetime value modeling, experimentation, and segmentation
Elevate the level of your team and your partners by bringing in external examples and industry perspective and ensuring we are continually refining our analytical toolkit
