Caregiver

• **Job Summary:** We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support and care to individuals in a home or outdoor setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to the values of dignity, respect, and compassion, and a willingness to learn and grow with our organization. **Duties:** - Assist consumer with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence, safety, and overall health. - Provide direct support to residents, including feeding, transferring, and lifting (with assistance when necessary). - Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition or behavior, and maintain accurate records of their care. Provide emotional support and companionship to consumer, engaging in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and strategies. - Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and first aid protocols as needed. - Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. **Skills:** - Experience in caregiving, preferably in a group home or memory care setting. - Strong understanding of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and the importance of independence and safety. - Ability to lift and transfer residents, with assistance when necessary. - Familiarity with care plans and the ability to develop and implement personalized plans. - Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to respond to emergency situations. - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality and privacy. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families. - Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
