About Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress
Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress is a training-oriented, specialty behavioral health clinic founded in 2019 on a vision to bring evidence-based, inclusive, and multiculturally sensitive treatment and assessment services to the Eugene-Springfield community. Our organization was founded on two pillars. First, we are committed to disseminating evidence-based treatments for Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and PTSD and evidence-based, therapeutic assessment services. Secondly, we are explicitly anti-oppression as a core value in our work. We recognize that stress and anxiety do not happen in a vacuum, but in the American context, which furthers white, heterosexual, cisgender, thin, and able-bodied ideals that set conditions for reinforcing trauma, shame, and self-blame in addition to perpetuating oppression and discrimination. With these two pillars in mind, we support our diverse clients through direct intervention and assessment services that address both internal and societal factors in their distress.
Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress is a proud member of the Refresh Mental Health network. Refresh provides outstanding operational support, infrastructure, and resources to allow clinicians to focus on what they do best — providing exemplary care to clients. This partnership allows us to offer additional resources and operational support while maintaining our local identity and leadership.
Refresh Mental Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values a diverse workplace. We are committed to building a team that is inclusive of all people, including those of LGBTQIA communities, members of all ethnic groups, people with disabilities and medical conditions, foreign-born residents, and veterans. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status. Refresh is also committed to compliance with all fair employment practices regarding citizenship and immigration status.
