Title: Business Line Management (also known as Business Management Operations)

Reports To: Technical Marketing Director

Position Type: Regular Full-Time, Exempt

Department: CRO

Manage activities and programs related to business operations and order fulfillment, including quoting, processing, manufacturing schedule slotting, booking closure and shipment of products to regions and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage order fulfillment process from forecast, manufacturing schedule, booking closure and shipment.
• Own quote submission on systems, spares, upgrades, etc, purchase order processing, customer tool acceptance criteria, etc. as part of the order fulfillment process.
• Work in cross-functional groups to translate customer configurations into shippable systems.
• Work with Product Managers and Engineering to identify and process non-standard build requests for customers.
• Communicate build status and adherence to commitments to account managers, including product audits and inspections.
• Process customer requests and manage the quote process within established business guidelines.
• Escalate to management and account teams out of bound situations related to committed schedule and revenue targets.

• Work with Product Managers, Engineering and Account Team to manage CEP process and fulfillment within business guidelines and customer requests
• Identify CIPs and cost-reduction items and drive factory to successful proliferation of product improvements/development.
• Coordinate training activities, including acting as liaison for visiting customers, manage communications on class scheduling, and assist as needed during training sessions.

Demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of industry and best practices. Aware of the competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate the product portfolio.

Interpersonal Skills

Works with cross-functional groups to build consensus; can communicate difficult or sensitive information.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical or related field or business management. At least 3 years’ experience in technical industry, ideally in semiconductor capital equipment industry.
