Job Description
Design and build state-of-the-art oligonucleotide synthesizer platforms
Expertise to integrate platform including liquid handlers, thermocyclers, incubators, plate readers, washers, and a robotic arm
Collaborate with external vendors to evaluate and select appropriate robotic equipment, instruments, and consumables to support project needs
Manage timelines, capital purchasing and budgeting objectives for new project
Collaborate with the Global teams to create automation workflows that advance lab goals
Program instrument software and methods for automated liquid handling systems including Dynamic Devices Lynx, Tecan, Hamilton, Beckman Coulter (ECHO)
Experience with Integrating data outputs into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Design, develop, build, deploy, and support custom lab automation and instrumentation solutions
Perform required maintenance, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise with liquid handling equipment and other general laboratory equipment to support automation
