QC IT Project Leader

• Leads projects and prioritizes using excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
• Assist in upgrading existing Windows Operating System and Isilon Storage Platform
• May assist in coordinating QC IT projects activities (LIMS, LES, ELN, SDMS, Empower) to support ongoing Quality Control department needs.
• Communicate project progress and risks to upper management and stakeholders (internal and external)
• Manage the day-to-day detailed aspects of multiple projects simultaneously
• Coordinates contingency and risk mitigation planning for projects.
• Apply project management principles, concepts and techniques to new and ongoing QC IT initiatives.
• Focus and influence cross-functional teams to achieve timelines
• Lead meetings relevant to assigned projects as required.
• Acts as liaison with IT, QC testing groups, Lab Systems and QA Validation to support project goals.

Education and Experience:

• BS/BA in related field. Industry experience preferred; may substitute relevant experience for education.
• Experience with deploying Enterprise Applications across multiple sites. Labware LIMS and/or Waters NuGenesis experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to arrange schedule and activities to accomplish project objectives and timelines.
• Requires excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities with organizational and time management skills.
• Positive, proactive approach to drive projects/tasks to completion.
• Must be a strong, dependable team player.
• Familiarity with electronic lab management systems and quality compliance requirements.
