EAG is looking for an individual to join our Enterprise Application team. In this role, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to support our multiple database environments, our ongoing data needs, and our reporting requests. You will provide day to day support of our databases overseeing the design, build and maintenance of our company databases. Additional daily tasks involve writing SQL scripts to insert, update, or delete data upon request, developing new and maintaining existing reports and dashboards, managing performance and tuning of database environments, and diagnosing and troubleshooting database errors and issues. Everyday will bring new challenges, along with new opportunities
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
- Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
- Manage database access.
- Performance tuning of database systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Design, implement, and maintain development and production database environments.
- Create and manage database reports and dashboards.
3 years of database administration.- 3 years of experience in MS SQL Server and Management Studio.
- 3 years of experience writing SQL statements/scripts and creating stored procedures.
- 3 years of experience with SSIS and SSRS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great team player with positive attitude.
- Strong technical aptitude, fast learner and effective problem solver.
- Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to change
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including Agile development, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus
