Position Summary:
This role provides controllership and financial analysis support to business and functional leaders within BioPharma, Genomics and Agrosciences Services North America. A successful candidate will be able to analyze and communicate financial performance, partner with business leaders to support decision making, and ensure finance policies are understood and applied consistently. This role also includes financial analyst support for information technology programs.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Summarize monthly financial results for the division and provide insights into financial performance through variance analysis and identification of underlying financial drivers.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets across the division by collaborating with management teams, developing forecasting and analysis tools, and tracking performance against established targets.
- Provide controllership support for Information Technology programs, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes. Work directly with program IT directors by providing ad hoc analysis of new investments and cost savings opportunities. Support and implement Eurofins Group directed IT finance initiatives.
- Support division and Eurofins Group initiatives through ad hoc financial analyses and development of new reporting tools.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing cost savings and new investment opportunities by employing various analytical methodologies, including discounted cash flow analyses.
- Partner with business management teams to ensure compliance with Eurofins Group standards and delegations of authority polices. Track capital spending and assist businesses with capital authority requests as needed.
- Analyze and track key metrics to help drive improvements in working capital efficiency, procurement performance, and operational efficiency. Support division and Eurofins Group improvement initiatives through development of new analyses and participation in cross-functional teams as needed.
- Facilitate periodic financial reviews by updating meeting materials and coordinating expectations with business leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business field.
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in Corporate Finance or Accounting.
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working in Accounting, ERP and Business Intelligence systems.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as raw intellectual aptitude to apply to business and analytical challenges.
- Ability to travel as needed (10%).
Location: Lancaster, PA. Full-time on-site or hybrid work arrangements (minimum 2 days / week in office) preferred
