EAG Laboratories, a Eurofins company, is looking for a Reliability Technician to join our Santa Clara, CA lab. This position is an opportunity to work with a variety of electromechanical test systems and customers to grow EAG’s business. EAG provides stress-based reliability qualification and knowledge-based reliability qualification methodologies based on industry standards in support of our client’s need to achieve high quality and reliable products.

EAG’s technicians engage with clients to comprehensively understand their issues, challenges, goals, and urgency, to define the device problems, develop and execute analysis, and report back results. This is a hands-on position that requires strong problem-solving skills to perform a wide range of analytical work.
The Reliability Technician has the critical role of running reliability jobs on state-of-the-art products and interfacing directly with clients to define scope of work, develop technical requirements and programs, debug and resolve issues, and communicate schedule and status.
As a Reliability Technician, you are responsible for running reliability stresses on materials and products to test their durability and execute such standardized work based on documented operating procedures. Activities include creating and editing chamber profiles, performing chamber tests, manual testing, and meticulous handling and analysis of samples. This role is responsible for ensuring a high quality, on-schedule delivery of these results to our clients in the semiconductor industry so that they can qualify their devices. The Reliability Technician will partner with the Reliability Operations team, along with Management and Sales to put together plans, execute, and provide support in resolving issues.
The ability to manage concurrent multiple projects under tight deadlines, recognize and mitigate risks, and work proactively on contingency plans are essential to the role.
- Quality control inspection experience is required
- Experience in precision inspection techniques
- Proficient in the use of instruments; DMM, oscilloscope, microscopes, etc.
- Knowledge in reliability stress testing, systems, techniques, and industry standards
- Excellent organizational, time management and computer skills, intermediate word processing, database management and spreadsheet skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good vision; analytical, process-oriented, technical understanding, and excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillset to engage with customers and team
- Knowledge of basic camera/photography functions and skills
- Must be able to lift electronic boards weighing up to 50lbs from low to high locations
