From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins works with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic and labelling is accurate.We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to support the analytical testing activities to support our clients manufacturing site in Sugarland Texas.Job DescriptionAnalytical Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :· Provides support to run analytical methods necessary for the characterization and release of the drug substance and drug product· May provide support in purification laboratory to verify mass and purity of purified materials using LC/MS in high throughput environment.· Conducts various experiments, primarily HPLC and GC, but may include water content, dissolution testing, and residual solvents· Performs set up and analyzing stability samples of development and clinical supplies· Documentation and reporting of resultsQualificationsThe ideal candidate would possess :· Strong computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), scientific, and organizational skills· Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude· Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies· Experience supporting analytical methods· Experience conducting HPLC, GC, and dissolution experiments· HPLC industry experience preferred.· Ability to develop and maintain effective, trusting work and customer relationships· Self-starter, able to prioritize work and work efficiently with minimal supervisionBasic Minimum Qualifications :· Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)· At least 1 year of laboratory experience· Ability to work with beta-lactams including cephalosporins and penicillins· Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
