Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Laboratory Technician to support our Professional Scientific Services group in Fremont, CA.
Job Description
Laboratory Technician Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate all samples including receiving, aliquotting, labeling, storage, and end to end sample handling
- Ship samples to external labs, clients and other sites
- Receive, aliquot aseptically, label, distribute and manage inventory of samples
- Support stability study set up and maintenance in tracking systems
- Implement and support of electronic sample labeling and management project
- Complete all paperwork per procedure
- Generate, reviews and/or maintains records or documents in a detailed and consistent manner
- Prepare sample reconciliation reports and other reports as needed
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Experience in a cGMP environment managing samples, ensuring chain of custody, accuracy, and compliance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), a strong customer focus, attention to detail, and an ability to interact with various departments and levels
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Qualifications
- Associates degree in microbiology, life sciences, or other related degree concentration
- At least 2 years related experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Fremont, California are encouraged to apply.
