Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
In the role of Production Scheduler/ Planner, he/she will import Bill of Materials and Routings into ERP system, create, maintain the daily production schedules, and mitigate risks related to capacity and materials constraints to ensure that demand requirements are met on time.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create and manage leveled production schedules for assigned work centers.
· Build production schedules and monitor daily/ weekly schedule adherences.
· Conduct material shortage analyses for short- and long-term production plan, working with Procurement team to mitigate any possible risks.
· Import drawings, bill of materials and routings into ERP system E2.
· Create and maintain work instructions for key Planning processes.
· Maintain Kanban for internal manufactured parts.
· Maintain Planning KPIs.
· Meet with production supervisor/ lead to review production schedules on the daily basis.
· Participate in daily Gemba walk.
· Participate in Continuous Improvement projects, as needed.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Minimum 2-3 years related experience.
· Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).
· Microsoft Office: Excel (strong), Word and PowerPoint.
· Excellent communication and analytical skills.
· Ability to work with Operations, present in the Production floor.
· Team Player.
EXPERIENCE PREFERABLE:
· Experience related to Windows and Doors field.
