Lead compliance with all international trade regulations related to US inbound customs and export controls:
- Development cost controlling and steering
- Financial cost optimization of the Scout vehicle product line regarding development cost
- Preparation of financial presentations for decision committees and milestones
- Support project management in evaluation of financial impact of product decisions
- Advocate for efficient investment of Scout capital and track investments across all business units
- Target setting and alignment with process partners to secure Scout’s profitability
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team to forecast decision results for upcoming new vehicle projects
- Coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery within the Scout product development process (PEP).
- Calculate and optimize weighted average of each vehicle’s trim levels, packages and markets
- Generate regular reports using cost tracking IT systems
Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 5 years of Finance or other relevant experience (Project Steering, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, etc.)
- Ability to accurately compile, translate, and present financial information in a clear concise manner, often in PowerPoint, to leadership and a broad audience including non-finance professionals
- Business Case planning and calculation expertise
- Knowledge of automotive technology and market (component cost, production, market trends and strategies, automotive process knowledge, cost market strategy, portfolio strategy)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including but not limited to: financial modeling, macro generation, business case evaluation, scenario & sensitivity analysis, and lookback evaluation
- Experience with Finance Enterprise Resource Programs (e.g. SAP)
- Experience working in an international setting

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $90,000-$110,000
Internal leveling code: IC9
