Manager, Security and Compliance

EV Connect is seeking a Manager, Security and Compliance who shares our passion for electric vehicles and their ability to positively impact transportation, air quality and energy independence for generations to come.

• Collaborate with smart colleagues who want to make a difference by advancing EV Connect’s mission, values, products and service offerings
• Continuously evaluate and improve EV Connect’s overall posture in governance, risk, compliance and security against industry best practices
• Manage incident escalation and response, business continuity planning, data privacy policies, Disaster Recovery planning and implementation
• Work with CloudDevOps, Station Operations and Engineering teams to incorporate best practices in security throughout the SDLC and supported environments
• Respond to risk assessments and security-related components of RFPs for current and prospective customers
• Pursue and maintain industry certifications, conduct internal audits, rollout and maintain security policies and controls
• Curate/Maintain a repository and knowledge base of artifacts and policy/procedure documentation/reference material
• Organize ongoing security training programs and maintain reference materials for EV Connect employees and contractors
• Work with service providers to manage IT, application/workstation support and help desk functions as they pertain to security and certifications

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• 5-7 years of information security, governance, risk and compliance experience
  
• Understanding of NIST/CIS cybersecurity frameworks and risk management
• Experience in SOC2T2 compliance and certification
• Experience in cloud-platforms (AWS) and how to enhance/build security controls within cloud environments
• Experience in managing technical policies, benchmarks and security baselines in a cloud environment (AWS)
• Experience with incident response processes and SIEM technologies/platforms
• Experience with conducting assessments and working with auditors
• Experience with SSO and identity management solutions
• General IT experience around end-point protection, malware, anti-virus, vulnerability management, scanning
• Experience with GDPR and CCPA requirements and compliance
• Familiarity with PCI DSS requirements and compliance

WE’D LIKE TO TALK TO YOU IF:

• Bachelor's preferred or solid 5 years' experience and at least one cloud-based security cert (GCSA, CPCS, CCSP)
  
• Past experience with AWS administration or similar cloud services
• CISSP certification a huge plus

WE’D ESPECIALLY LIKE TO TALK TO YOU IF:

• You have experience certifying and managing FedRAMP program requirements
• You have EV industry experience with station integration or open protocols like OCPP, OCPI or OpenADR
