Important responsibilities in this role will include:
- Work directly with our client, a large multinational bank, as an Index Quant Specialist.
- Work closely with the QIS desks to support in developing indices across asset classes.
- Support the equity derivatives structuring teams focused on developing, pricing, and marketing trading strategies.
- Develop technical solutions that ensure efficient automation of back-testing tools and model pricing.
- Review index rulebooks and implement index models in Python.
- Work with database teams to implement logical and meaningful rules for data checks, controls, and
- Work to achieve the highest level of accuracy and timelines.
- Work with stakeholders in quants, trading, technology, and control functions to meet the business requirements.
Skills we’re looking for:
- BS/MS – Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or Economics or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced level of Python programming language
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Database skills: high level in SQL or equivalent
- Strong command of Excel and data manipulation
- Good understanding of Financial Markets, Derivatives, Option Pricing and Greeks.
- Detail and quality oriented
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong collaboration skills
