Reports to: Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO)
Job Summary: Under the direction of Chief Regulatory Officer, oversees the contractual arrangements for Evara Health. Monitors the development of new business arrangements and adherence of all contractual relationships to funding and accrediting agencies' requirements. Develops, implements, and utilizes monitoring tools necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of contractual arrangements, Evara Health’s performance under the contract, and reports findings to CRO and the Leadership Team members. Monitoring performance of vendors, third-party payors, and CHCP within the framework of a specific agreement. Assists leadership in partnerships and management of relations with the third-party payors and other vendors.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Monitor adherence to terms of current contracts, including timely renewal
- Research potential partners for existing and new lines of business
- Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions.
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
- Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to what’s best for the company.
- Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance and Accounting department to execute and evaluate contract for performance measurements
- Contract negotiation, drafting, evaluation, and oversight of the contract approval process
- Participate in the development of contract implementation/performance related procedures and policies
- Collaborate with BI team in assuring necessary capacities to successfully collect, analyze, and report data in accordance with contractual requirements and Evara Health business needs
- Assure the development of performance indicators and reports, including monitoring of financial and clinical aspects of Evara Health execution under the contract
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Monitor the cost-effectiveness of existing contracts in collaboration with finance department
- Develop and propose to senior management team changes/additions/adjustments in contractual terms to improve efficiency and effectiveness of current contracts
- Monitor adherence of contractual terms to all applicable State, Federal, HIPAA, HRSA, Evara Health and accreditation agencies rules and regulations
- Integrate the performance-related outcomes set by funding agencies and HRSA Program Requirements into the organization’s contractual arrangements
- Serve as a liaison in communication with third-party payors and other vendors
- Distribute information from contracted entities, including but not limited to third-party payors, senior leaders and other team members
- Assure the tracking of data and submit progress reports/invoices required by contract
- Present drafts of all contract deliverables for senior management approval as necessary
- Participate with NACHC, FACHC and other contracting professional groups
- Establish effective communication with other team members, senior leadership, and business partners
- Maintain confidentiality within the workplace with all written and verbal communications pertaining to residents, staff, and community operations
- Ability to leverage best practices, analytics, and data-driven processes for the improvement of outcomes under contractual arrangements
- Strict adherence to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules and regulations
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting
