What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Recruiter position at Evara Health?
Job Summary: Provides full scope of recruitment initiatives, including planning and development of physician opportunities and services; consulting and communicating with hospital and clinic administration, physicians, operations vice presidents, directors, managers, and supervisors; designs lead generation strategies for opportunities; sells the organization to potential candidates; screens and interviews physician and credentialed provider candidates; arranges and hosts physician site visits; facilitates contract negotiations; manages/coordinates background checks, coordinates relocation arrangements; initiates credentialing/privileging process; oversees requests/negotiations for physician bonuses; monitors terms of physician contracts; initiates retention activities. Maintains constant source of information regarding new physician contacts, taking appropriate and timely measures to recruit the physicians to the most appropriate Evara Health location where a physician practice opening has been identified
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in physician and/or advanced practice provider recruitment.
- Previous experience with writing advertisements, utilization of industry job boards and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Previous experience in the hospital industry or in a related healthcare industry setting
Licenses, Certifications, and Registration
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
