We have an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Specialist. This role performs a variety of responsibilities throughout the supply chain from materials planning and purchasing to wholesale coordination and distribution. This will involve evaluating and executing detailed plans that support brand-specific targets and customer needs while managing the variables and constraints that impact the overall business. Successful planning will enable timely demand fulfillment and stable production flow while minimizing inventory risks.
Specific job duties:
- Ensures inventory policy compliance within the supply distribution network.
- Collaborate with the product development team on material planning and purchasing.
- Manage the production process timelines to meet key dates and deadlines.
- Assesses, audits, and keeps appropriate inventory levels based on supply and demand forecasts, production schedules, supplier lead times, and team inputs.
- Develops supply chain processes influencing inventory and resource allocation.
- Communicates product availability, capacity constraints, technical and other issues to appropriate management in order to influence production scheduling.
- Develops new methods and standards for continuous improvement in the supply chain process.
- Maintains strong relationships with key business partners throughout the supply chain, wholesale operations, and sales teams.
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to optimize process improvement and increase efficiency across the supply chain
- Participate in discussions with key strategic partners across many levels of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience Requirements:
- BS Degree or equivalent experience in production planning and inventory management.
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain coordination, planning, or logistics and mastery of relevant technical or business skills required to accomplish the job
- High business acumen, with a tenacious attention to detail.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel.
- Demonstrate high-level analytical skills; show an ability to leverage data-driven insights to prompt improvements.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision while being a key member of the team.
- Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, and theories within the supply chain and ability to assist with training and development of other team members on this knowledge
- Advanced understanding of global supply chain constraints
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills and ability to prioritize the needs of the business.
