Job Description: As an Accountant with EEG, you will play a vital role by being a skilled and detail-oriented addition to our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, budgeting, and tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Updating accounts payable

- Assisting with reviewing income and expenses
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Assisting in balancing sheets and income statements
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes
- Assist with tax planning and preparation
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed

Qualifications:

- High school qualification
- Minimum two years proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Solid understanding of accrual accounting concepts
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
