Event Specialist

About Us: EventPrep Franchise, Inc. is a national event planning company known for its innovative approach and exceptional service. We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Event Specialist to join our team as a contractor/consultant (1099 position).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to plan, organize, and execute a variety of events
• Source and negotiate contracts with hotels and venues
• Provide event registration services
• Assist with exhibitor/sponsorship sales for trade shows
• Help develop and edit event and marketing materials
• Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process

Requirements:

• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for event planning
• Work experience in the hospitality industry and/or relevant education/certifications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience with Cvent sourcing and registration software (or similar software) is a plus
• Ability to occasionally travel for events

Compensation:

• Initial hourly compensation ranges between $22 and $35 based on experience
• Opportunity for commission based on performance

Work Arrangement:

• Flexible office space provided for in-person meetings and collaborative work
• Ability to work from home as needed
• Not a full-time opportunity - Minimum of 10 hours per week
• No benefits offered as a 1099 consultant
