About us
EverClear Hospice & Palliative Care's goal is to enhance the quality of life of the patient and their family. It includes medical care, emotional support, pain management, and spiritual support. Hospice care is usually recommended for individuals who have life-limiting illnesses or conditions and have decided to forego curative treatment.
We are looking for a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate care to terminally ill patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-of-life care, be able to provide emotional support, and be able to assist with activities of daily living. The Hospice Aide will also be responsible for providing light housekeeping services, preparing meals, and running errands as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing comfort and care to those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition to the nurse or doctor.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and meal preparation.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers.
- Provide companionship to the patient and family members.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.
Job Types: Part Time/ as needed
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
