Position Summary:

Florida's premier Engineering and Air Quality company is further expanding its property damage estimating department and looking to recruit an ambitious, dedicated, and capable full-time estimator in the state of Florida. This person will be responsible for interpreting expert reports, industry standards, applicable FL statutes, and Xactimate information in order to create comprehensive estimates for residential and commercial projects.

Status: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Xactimate to create accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Utilize both Matterport and HOVER digital measurement and documentation software complete the requested scope of work.
• Interpret industry standards to complement the provided expert reports and render comprehensive scopes of work.
• Coordinate with different departments, referral contacts, and clients to problem solve and assist policy holders.
• Use the provided CRM software to accurately track and update client files and ensure on time and accurate project delivery.
• Work with our in-house experts to further develop industry knowledge, understanding, and qualifications in furtherance of increasing work quality and efficiency.

General Qualifications:

• 5 years of total property damage experience.
• 2 years of Xactimate estimating experience.
• 1 years of experience with mold and/or water damage remediation.
• 3-5 years of experience with residential construction (Drywall, framing, roofing, etc.)

Necessary Attributes:

• Professional writing and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.
• General technological proficiency.
• Ability to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills quickly
• Above average organizational skills
• Capable of multi-tasking effectively
• Ability to work independently
