The Specialist, Learner Experience partners with senior team members and contributes to the creation of engaging and impactful content for learners from all ages and backgrounds. The Specialist is responsible for guiding content development activities and to collaborate with the internal Product Development teams to ensure alignment of content with the product vision.

Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to the creation of innovative learning experiences across a variety of topics and audiences within the EVERFI networks
  • Create content outlines, learner experience designs, and other supporting documents in product development
  • Write compelling instructional content, including scripts, video scripts, and supporting resources to augment the core product
  • Track and complete content tasks using project management tools and coordinating with the Content & Editorial team’s SCRUM master
  • Collaborate with other Product teams to ideate, create, or revise digital educational content
  • Provide feedback and participate in the alignment of the EVERFI Integrated Development Ecosystem (IDE) with leaner-first principles, pedagogy, andragogy, and instructional design
  • Attend product kick-off meetings and contribute to product support and needs’ assessment
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, Instructional Technology or a relevant field preferred
  • 2 years of experience with digital content development 
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies with the ability to translate information into actionable strategies
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various audience
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Proficient with Google suite and Jira or similar project management tools
  • Experience with course authoring tools preferred
  • Experience working in an agile environment preferred
