Job Description: General Laborer
Please read the following General Duties, tasks and conditions that will be regularly required of you as a General Laborer for Evergreen Caissons, Inc. based in Denver, CO.

CDL Drivers: Please make note of your experience. All driver positions will include miscellaneous labor, drivers must be able to do the physical and manual labor as listed herein:
Responsibilities and General Duties Requirements and Expectations
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel job sites throughout Colorado and surrounding states as needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age upon commencement of field work
- Works 40 hours per week. Additional overtime often required
- Travel with overnight stays will be required. $125.00 Per Diem will be paid for qualified work locations (refer to Per Diem policy).
- All field crew-members are required to attend and participate in daily job safety briefings
- Must follow all job sites, Evergreen Caissons and OSHA required safety policies and standards .
- Must successfully complete safety training when requested, which may include but is not limited to OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Hour Outreach, 1st Aid/CPR, crane spotter/Signal Rigger, forklift safety, railroad safety, confined space, and excavation safety.
- Will be required to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including: safety glasses, hard hat, work boots, high visibility vests and gloves. Additional PPE may be required including hearing protection, face masks, and face shields on specific projects or duties as assigned.
- Physical labor at construction sites will require that all field crew employees must be in fit condition to stand for over 90% of the day, performing tasks that regularly require bending and twisting.
- Laborers will often be required to carry heavy objects includ-ng forms, steel beams, rings, and lumber. This will mean that employees must be able to lift up to 50lbs and occasional-ly 1001bs by oneself. Working smart and with a partner is always encouraged.
- Required to pass a pre-employment physical exam
Responsibilities and General Duties Requirements and Expectations
- Will be required to work on remote job sites and during all weather conditions .
- Will work under the direction and supervision of a Supervisor or Job Foreman and be expected to execute daily work instructions.
- Will work around heavy equipment and open holes and must be able to follow safety protocols and stay alert to surroundings in a constantly changing environment.
- Qualified employees may be required to operate a skid steer or a forklift as directed by Supervisor
- Workplace Housekeeping: Keeps work areas clean, safe and organized and assists in waste disposal. Assists in monitoring and organizing tools and materials to minimize loss
- May be required to operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
- Required to assist in securing loads under the direction of a Supervisor
- Assists in building reinforcing steel cages for caisson con-struction, pad and pier, flat work construction or other as needed. Assists in constructing concrete forms for caisson caps or forms for walls
- Changes tools/auger sizes and auger teeth on working drill rig as necessary
- Assists in setting forms and walls
- Assists in loading and unloading equipment, tools, supplies, and other materials from trucks and trailers
- Assist with rigging materials and other loads under the direc-tion of a qualified rigger
- Assists with pouring concrete, assist in finishing concrete
- Required to Inspect, maintain, and clean equipment and vehicles used on the job site.

Experience:
- Transportation Infrastructure Construction Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
