Laboratory Technician - Blood Bank
Responsibilities :
- Maintains organized processes to provide optimal and timely patient results
- Remains knowledgeable of processes and pre-analytical procedures enabling efficient trouble shooting and problem solving
- Assists with monitoring and documenting of the sections inventory control system while assuring effective use of supplies
- Performs all tasks in positive manner to result in appropriate positive customer service
- Complies with section's telephone courtesy policies and procedures
- Reports results of problem resolutions to callers in accordance with section's policies
- Demonstrates cooperation when working with both internal and external customers
- Demonstrates calmness under varying environmental circumstances; remains willing and capable of assisting with crisis situations
- Consistently well groomed; maintains a high standard of personal hygiene; adheres to the section / divisional dress code
Qualifications
- Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible
