Assemblers should be good communicators, have technical knowledge and be skilled in using tools and machines.
How to adhere to production standards; knowledge of lumber and other materials; and an understanding of construction methods, such as rough framing, roof framing, floor framing and installation, door and window framing, exterior and interior finishing. Knowing how to read and follow blueprints is a plus!
Description
Are you skilled at assembling unique structures and enjoy working in the construction industry? We are seeking a friendly and driven assembler to join our team! As a team member in special assembly, you will be responsible for creating and putting together specialized panels. This is a great opportunity to work with a passionate team on challenging projects.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and build specialized panels based on blueprints and schematics.
- Analyze technical drawings and schematics to determine appropriate assembly techniques and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project quality is met.
- Use hand tools and basic equipment to complete panels.
- Conduct quality control tests on finalized structures to ensure they meet client specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
- Ensure all safety measures are followed on job sites.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction field.
- Experience with assembling or building.
- MUST be able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment.
- Ensures any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Ability to do heavy lifting
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Full range of physical motion throughout the torso
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
