ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setting clear direction, effective plans and measurable outcomes with Audit and Post Audit Transaction, Financial Review of Transportation Services and TMS Work Bench Exception Management.
  • Onboarding auditing firm with TMS integration to include audit and exception management within the platforms
  • Driving the key initiatives surrounding Mercury Gate as it relates to EVERSANA strategic initiatives in the full deployment of Mercury Gate platform options in Client Billing.
  • Ongoing Financial review both at budget level and transactional level in exception management module within TMS platform.
  • Develop reporting that enhances key metrics in the financial application of freight payment and client billing.
  • Review carrier EDI (204/210/214) compliance with mitigation of delays or missing transactions.
  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates various projects, programs, and services.
  • Understands and can configure Mercury Gate platform for financial reporting.
  • Understands and can navigate auditing firm results and post audit transaction results.
  • All other duties as assigned

PEOPLE LEADER
People leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values. In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above, this role also includes the following unique responsibilities:

  • Responsible for and oversee the management of the Mercury Gate TMS Client Billing Module and Exception management and users assigned to exception management.
  • Responsible for the financial review of all reports and execution of exception management outside of TMS within the Supply Chain group.
  • Manage and supervise the TMS finance and report review activities of the department staff at a SOP level in coordination with the Transportation Manager; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and supervise the 3rd party auditing firm (audit and post audit transactions).
  • Lead by example in both the administration and management of the Transportation Team. Execute at high level to task and to project timelines. This requires high levels of priority management and follow up within the Supply Chain team and coordination with the other team managers.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education (Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Supply Chain or Finance)
  • Experience and/or Training (Financial and business review in an auditing or transactional environment specific in the application of transportation finance, transportation back ground in operations and knowledge of the transportation industry and Mercury Gate or TMS as a user )
  • Licenses/Certificates (driver’s licenses required, professional certifications APICS CSCP all preferred not required)
  • Technology/Equipment (TMS, Auditing tools, Ability to develop reporting, analytics, Microsoft Office Suites medium to expert level)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education (Bachelor’s Degree)

  • Experience and/or Training (Background in Transportation Finance and Audit)
  • Licenses/Certificates (Degree in Supply Chain or Finance APICS CSCP)
  • Technology/Equipment (Microsoft Office Suite of Services, Power BI User Level )
