As the Staff Accountant you will enjoy Remote Opportunity Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k savings plan Company paid holidays Company provided PTO Company provided equipment ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform tasks over all areas of accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for and follow legal standards Assist with the month-end closing process, conducting research, and making correction journal entries for account discrepancies Prepare and post journal entries including accrual entries Review financial statements with variance notes Perform various complex account analysis and reconciliations Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals Answer accounting and financials questions by researching and interpreting data Contribute to year-end close and reporting Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request DESIRED ATTRIBUTES Proven track record to thrive in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams and independently History of working with ERP software (NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, all a plus) Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Ownership and pride in work product Passionate pursuit of automation and efficiencies within a high-volume environment Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Experience in healthcare MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent degree and/or experience 2 years of relevant professional experience Proficiency in Word and Excel Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000/yr The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level.
