What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, Human Resources position at Eversight Vision?

Summary

This position is responsible for contributing to the HR function by participating in and providing support for talent acquisition, salary and benefit program administration, employee experience and engagement programs, records management, and other HR project coordination.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for contributing to talent acquisition, by screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and conducting reference checks.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers on onboarding processes, ensuring that new employees have a smooth transition and are set up for success including, communicating with the new hire prior to starting, working with managers to welcome and assimilate new employees, conducting 30-day & 90-day check-ins, and coordinating HR Orientation and related records.
  • Assists with coordinating online training learning library assignments
  • Maintains and organizes electronic benefits records, electronic filing systems, forms and document updates.
  • Assists with benefits enrollment and ongoing benefits administration.
  • Responsible for maintaining regulatory posting requirements for all of the offices.
  • Prepares HR content for internal newsletter and company intranet.
  • Coordinates, supports, or manages ad hoc projects, HRIS reporting, and other on-going programs.
  • Handles sensitive information in a confidential, professional manner.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the Mission and Values of Eversight.

Qualifications

Education: Some undergraduate studies in related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of human resources.

Skills: Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to make presentations and establish effective and collaborative relationships with diverse population virtually and in person. Ability to coordinate and manage projects. Strong MS office skills.

Knowledge: Knowledge of general HR practices

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work is primarily performed in a normal office environment and/or home office. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time. Routine use of computer. Limited noise, room temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
