POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus a valid driver's license required for this position. The individual will be assigned to the East Springfield Mobile Meter Reading department, driving the mobile AMR vehicle reading meters. Hours are first shift, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additional requirements include the successful completion of the Meter Reader aptitude test.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
WMECO presently has a need to fill a Mobile AMR Driver position within its centralized Mobile AMR Operations group. The position will be filled in accordance with the Mobile AMR Driver Position agreement of the WMECO Union contract. The individual must successfully pass the Meter Reader test. May assist Meter Service as the second person on credit disconnects and may also perform some manual meter reading.
Bargaining unit employees with contractual rights to this position in the WMECO union contract will be given first consideration.
