Job Summary: The Mississippi Valley Child Protection Center (MVCPC) Program Director responsibility is to ensure for the high-quality effective operation of the MVCPC. This responsivity includes, but is not limited to Daily Operations, maintenance of adherence to National Accreditation Standards, Partnership Cultivation, Multidisciplinary Team support/ maintenance, and Strategic Planning for the Center and its Services. Additionally, this position is required to facilitate Forensic Interviews in support of periods of higher demand and as coverage support for the primary Forensic Interviewer. Other responsibilities may be assigned as required to meet the mission and goals of the MVCPC and EveryChild.
Work Site: Muscatine MVCPC with periodic regional travel throughout Eastern Iowa and the Greater Quad Cities Metropolitan Area.
Supervisor: Vice President of Programs
Essential Duties:
· Effectively oversee and manage all components involved within the best practice driven delivery of Children’s Advocacy Center services.
· Effectively oversee and manage all aspects of Daily Center Operations to include, but not be limited to, Forensic and Medical services, Family Advocacy services, general administration, regulatory and accreditation compliance, Community Awareness building, Multidisciplinary Team Support and Community Partner cultivation.
· Become fully trained and serve as a Forensic Interviewer in support of periods of higher demand and as coverage support for the primary Forensic Interviewer (vacations, leaves etc.).
· Conduct forensic interviews of children, adolescents, and dependent adults alleging abuse as referred to the MVCPC by HHS and/or law enforcement, as needed.
· Respond to subpoenas and provide court testimony as required.
· Ensure for and support the development of Program Plans and Budgets.
· Monitor program budgets, approve all budgeted purchases/expenses and assist with budget reallocations.
· Provide Overall leadership, implementation and support for program resource development and sustainability; to include the identification of viable opportunities, grant writing/ management, fundraising, and billing.
· Successfully manage/ maintain all facets of Program Quality Assurance and National Accreditation.
· Collect, maintain and accurate report Program data and outcome measures within all required reports to include, but not be limited to, Quarterly Reports to funders and the internal EveryChild Quality Assurance Committee.
· Assume responsibility for/ the role of Multi-disciplinary Team Coordinator for all MVCPC Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
· Effectively coordinate, schedule and facilitate Multi-disciplinary Team Case Review meetings.
· Serve as the Program liaison and Cultivate/ Maintain strong relationships with area County Attorneys, Law Enforcement, Iowa HHS personnel, Medical Providers, Mental Health Providers and other affiliated Social Service Providers and Partners.
· Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with community service providers and funders.
· Lead and manage all MVCPC Advisory Council efforts, to include facilitating quarterly meetings, leading strategic planning development/oversight, and fostering/supporting membership engagement.
· Fulfil “on-call” status expectations as required/ maintain reasonable flexibility within availability.
Supervisory:
· Execute board approved personnel policies.
· Approve, support and evaluate the goals and objectives of assigned staff.
· Ensure staff compliance with quality assurance standards (internal and external).
· Ensure all relevant parties complete/ adhere to established National Accreditation Training position oriented requirements; to include, but not be limited to MDT Members, Forensic Interviewers, Family Advocates, Mental Health Providers etc.
· Provide support, coaching, training and annual performance reviews to assigned staff.
· Review and approve staff time sheets, requests for time off, mileage and personal expense vouchers, and expenditure authorizations.
Additional Duties:
· Maintain personnel records, including time sheets, mileage and personal expenses.
· Attend all EveryChild staff meetings.
· Participate in internal and external committees as appropriate.
· Assist in general EveryChild planning, public activities and fundraising, as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field preferred; or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3 years of supervisory/ management experience.
· Demonstrated self-driven capacity to successfully facilitate Program Management
· General skills in program planning, implementation and evaluation
· Working knowledge of Multi-Disciplinary Child Abuse Response Systems
· Ability to embrace organizational goals and work in a team-oriented environment
· Ability to adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements
· Strong organizational skills and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
· Bilingual a plus, but not required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
