Our core team is made up of beauty packaging industry veterans.  While beauty is our core area that we are focusing on right now, we are also expanding to other areas such as lifestyle products, merchandise, etc.  We have in-house designers and engineers as well as a sales and pm team and logistic services.We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Creative Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who is passionate about project management, marketing, and trends to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team and be a part of transforming creative ideas into reality.If you are a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for marketing and trends, and fluent in Chinese, we would love to hear from you!Job DescriptionAs a Creative Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various creative projects from inception to completion. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally across departments within the company including design, engineering, purchasing, logistics, and regulatory to bring projects and initiatives to life.Your primary focus will be on delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to client specifications, while also ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing profitability. You are a go-getter, relationship builder, incredibly organized, and loves working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, create timelines, and coordinate to ensure successful project completion. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and offer solutions to mitigate risks.Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for clients both domestically and internationally (China specifically), maintaining regular communication to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide project updates.Cost Management: Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.Marketing and Trend Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, industry insights, and consumer behavior to develop innovative strategies and concepts.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including design, engineering, purchasing, logistics, and regulatory to ensure seamless project execution. Foster effective communication and coordination among team members to meet project objectives.Brainstorming sessions: Facilitate creative meetings to foster idea generation and ensure the team stays inspired and motivated throughout the project lifecycle.Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications with necessary stakeholders. Conduct inspections and address any non-conformance issues to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.Project documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records. Ensure accurate and timely documentation to support project tracking, reporting, and analysis.Business Development: Support efforts by contributing to proposal creation, client pitches, and relationship building.Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and drive initiatives to optimize project management and client account management processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Design, Business, or related disciplines).Proven experience in project management, preferably within a creative agency or related field.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.Strong background in marketing or trend analysis, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior.Reading, writing, and oral fluency in both English and Mandarin is a plusExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and communicate effectively with clients and team members.A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. An eagerness to bring fresh ideas to the table.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working on international campaigns or projects.Knowledge of Chinese social media is a plusFamiliarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).Previous experience managing projects for international clients or in cross-cultural settings is a bonus.Additional InformationThis is a full-time, in-office position in our beautiful offices in Santa Monica, CA.  We offer a great package including PTO, benefits, 401K, and holidays.  Compensation $85,000-$120,000 DOE
