- Assessing and examining patients.
- Conducting laboratory tests on specimens for diagnosing medical conditions.
- Performing diagnostic imaging and ultrasound tests.
- Assisting in surgery, dressing, and treating wounds.
- Promoting preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations, and by educating clients on positive diet and lifestyle choices for pets.
- Improving patients' dental health by performing checkups, and cleaning.
- Ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
- Maintaining patients' medical records.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- 2 years of continuous Veterinarian Technician experience.
- Specialty experience is a plus.
- LVT, RVT, CVT, VTS (ECC) or Pre-Vet is a plus, but not required.
- Desire to practice empathetic, gold-standard medicine benefiting our patients.
- Are paw-sitive, kind and provide trustworthy communication to the patients, team members, and clients.
- Have the desire to constantly grow and advance as a veterinary technician!
