Core Capabilities:
- Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
- Ecommerce merchandising experience and aptitude
- CMS experience and search tool experience (i.e. Algolia)
- Proven analytical and project management skills
- Great eye for art and design
Responsibilities:
- Maintain & merchandise categories on a daily basis using conversion data to maximize demand
- Direct product hierarchy to maximize conversion, manage search results vs. category navigation results
- Ensure appropriate invitations are available and optimized to support key marketing and product team initiatives
- Keep site updated with most up-to-date holidays, featured invitations and links
- Manage site search to ensure optimal results for key search terms, always maintaining and updating per what is trending
- Work closely with SEO team to ensure that all aspects of merchandising support SEO efforts
- Perform site QA to ensure that the site is functioning as intended and that conversion is strong and growing
- Identify revenue & growth opportunities across all categories
- Create new processes and tools (with data team) around performance reporting, to better understand what types of templates are working across a variety of categories
- Regularly report on category KPIs and template performance
- Develop template prioritization with the brand and creative teams, to drive higher event conversion
- Partner with Marketing and Creative to select invites for emails, social and more to optimize for conversion
Additional Preferred Requirements:
- 4 years of proven online merchandising experience
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Tableau, Google Docs and Excel
- Strong understanding and passion for websites, UI and Visual Site Merchandising
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and ability to multi-task
