Job Summary EVO Transportation, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support its growing truckload business. We are in search of a talented, detail-oriented and customer-focused person to represent our company to our customers and internal stakeholders. This position requires a passion for delivering a great customer experience along with an exceptional communication style that includes a high level of detail and clarity. Heavy computer work and email communication is needed to communicate with all levels of personnel within our operations team as well as with our external customers so all work orders are received and executed without failure.

It is important for the CSR position to project a professional company image through in-person, email, and telephone interaction. Advanced and extensive skills in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) are required, as well as proficient internet research abilities and strong grammatical aptitude (written and verbal). This position may be called on to create memorandums and business letters to communicate effectively with executives as well as non-technical audiences.

The position will provide support to our freight customers, dispatchers, load planners, and driving staff. Daily activities as well as project-based work will be expected. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Take work orders from customers and enter all customer information into our transportation management system.

· Effectively communicate customer expectations to employees and meet high standards for customer demands.

· Effectively communicate service-related issues to the customer to manage customer expectations.

· Set appointment times for pick-up and deliveries that effectively work within the parameters of our daily schedules.

· Verify rates, stops, accessorial charges, and trip mileage is accurate in the dispatch system.

· Build company profiles using accurate procedure in the dispatch system.

· Create truck-route directions for our database.

· Work to ensure billing department receives accurate information and customers receive service and invoicing that is expected.

· Problem-solve to handle customer service issues within a fast-paced environment.

· Assist in finding and securing backhauls that match our operational needs.

· Other responsibilities as needed.

Required Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:

· At least 2 years of customer service experience combined with strong knowledge of the transportation industry.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Creativity, solution-oriented thinking.

· Self-starter attitude.

· Results-oriented focus.

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
