We have a wonderful Full-Time opportunity to join our Evoke Wellness Ohio Medical team as the ARNP.
The ARNP will be responsible for assisting the Medical Director in providing substance abuse services. The function of the ARNP is to assist in ensuring all clinical programs are safe and appropriate to the client?s specific issues, drug of choice, and medical history. ARNP will direct and coordinate medical services and care in coordination with the Medical Director with other areas of the organization while making reasonable accommodations to ensure clients are safe and comfortable as possible during their stay.
Position Responsibilities
Perform complete history and physical examination and or follow-up evaluations to each new client within timelines stipulated in the facility policy and procedure manual and in accordance with state licensing standards.
Assists the physician in providing medical protocols.
Makes recommendations for follow-up services that reflect the findings or risk factors discovered during medical assessments.
Ensure that clients are referred to specialists when the medical needs of a client cannot be met by the providers of the addiction treatment center.
Assists in ensuring the provision of all prescribed drugs and medically necessary pharmaceutical services.
Assists in ensuring that drug utilization reviews are appropriately conducted and documented as outlined in the policy and procedure manual and to specifically indicate the use
Maintain policies and procedures to ensure the Clients' right to confidentiality of medical information.
Ensure that client's rights and responsibilities are communicated these to agency clients and providers.
Maintain procedures for monitoring the coordination of care provided to clients, including but not limited to all medically necessary services delivered both within and outside the addiction treatment agency.
Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities.
Assists in developing plans for Performance Improvement.
Assists in developing cost-effective methods to provide medically necessary therapeutic services.
Facilitates communication with ancillary services.
Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information.
Collects and records data in a comprehensive, accurate and systematic manner.
Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu.
Demonstrates knowledge of program policies and procedures and assists in developing new policies as needed.
Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or family throughout program.
Collaborates with the medical staff to provide medical and nursing care.
Attends patient staffing and flash meetings.
Manages compliance with established nursing care standards.
Continues with educational courses and in-services training, per policies and procedures
Updates knowledge of community resources on a continuous basis.
Demonstrates objectivity and maturity under stress.
Responds positively to changing situations in the work setting.
Ability to work as a team member.
Demonstrates good communication skills.
Manages in a professional manner and role-models a positive image of mental health.
Reports abuse of patients? rights immediately.

Position Requirements
Demonstrate Expertise in Performing Medical and/or Psychiatric assessments and Identifying Medical and/or Psychiatric Problems.
Possesses Knowledge of Nursing processes; Utilization Review Processes, and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the Discipline. Adheres to the Association For Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare Code of Ethics.
Knowledge of Ohio Nursing Association Guidelines.
Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills.
Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.
Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Education & Work Experience
Graduated from an accredited graduate nursing program
Licensed to practice nursing in the appropriate state, maintaining current licensure per state requirements as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Maintains current CPR Cert.
